In Japan, hanami is the old custom of sitting under the cherry trees for the few days they bloom, watching the petals come down. Sakura keeps that moment on your wrist. A real cherry-blossom photograph sits in a polished gold-framed window, like the miniature paintings of classic art-dial watches, and petals drift slowly down behind the glass. Choose the scene: blossom against a spring sky, dew-covered Somei-Yoshino, Mount Fuji over the blossom, the lantern-lit night blossom of yozakura, or a single flower up close. Then choose how many petals fall and how fast, from a few slow ones to a spring breeze. Around the window, a guilloché, sunburst, enamel or matte dial with applied gold indices and dauphine hands.

DESIGN DETAILS

COMPATIBILITY
Works with watches running Wear OS 5 or later, including Galaxy Watch 4 and newer (with the latest software update) and Pixel Watch. Not compatible with Tizen or Wear OS 2, 3 or 4.

HOW TO CUSTOMISE
1. Touch and hold the watch face.
2. Tap Customise.
3. Swipe to an option (colour, accent, window, dial, indices, hands, petals, petal speed, petal size, petal area, seconds, logo, always-on).
4. Turn the crown or scroll to change it.

HOW TO INSTALL
Choose your watch from the Install menu on Google Play. If the face does not appear, open the Play Store on the watch and search for DQ Sakura.

PERMISSIONS
When you apply the face, your watch asks for:
• Physical activity: shows your step count on the dial.
The data is read and shown on the watch only. It is never stored or sent anywhere. If you decline, that reading is hidden and the rest of the face works as normal.
Weather comes from your watch's own weather service and needs no permission; it is hidden until your watch has weather.
